Kamelot in Nightwish situation

I haven't heard about Kamelot for such a looong time. Don't blame me for not keeping up to date about this band! I'm living in Malaysia so whenever I want to know anything about them, new albums and blah blah, I have to google them. And at this moment which is on 13th January 2012, I just found out that the band's vocalist, Roy Khan, had left the band since April last year.

Oh God, another Nightwish situation.

The reason why I called this "Nightwish" is because this whole thing is almost similar to what happened to Nightwish, where Tarja also left the band (actually was kicked out of the band). The most perfect band ever, with powerful voice from Tarja and awesome songs from the band member, with such beautiful lyrics Thoumas had ever made. People cried when knowing that Tarja was no longer with the band. Until now, everybody still cannot accept the fact that they were no longer together.

Same thing happened to Kamelot. Roy Khan had the most awesome (nearly God-like) voice ever, and I can't imagine how Kamelot would sound like without him. His voice is exactly the same on live performances or on records.

Damn I'm so sad by this news.
